TriMet has recognized three operators as Operator of the Year. The awards are based on outstanding driving records, customer service and attendance with nominees voted on by their peers.
Shaler Halimon Jr. was honored as TriMet’s Bus Operator of the Year. Frank Rockenback was chosen as MAX Operator of the Year. Steve Fung obtained the top honor for a part-time bus operator.
