U.S. Bank is offering up to a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in a robbery of the U.S. Bank branch at Northeast 42nd Avenue and Alberta Court.
On Friday, Oct. 8, at about 12:46 p.m., Portland Police arrived on scene and learned that two suspects dressed in gray hooded sweatshirts and wearing “theatrical” style masks had entered the bank, fired an unknown number of shots, and then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
A witness initially reported that a gunman had taken hostages but through the investigation it was learned that nobody had been taken hostage and all employees and customers were accounted for.
The Portland Police Bureau and the F.B.I. are asking for anyone with information about this robbery to call Detective Tony Christensen at 503-224-4181.
