The Hawthorne Boulevard District of southeast Portland hosts a Holiday Stroll celebration on Thursday, Dec. 9 with extended business hours for local merchants, live music and entertainment, complimentary snacks and hot drinks, neighborhood carolers, and kid friendly festivities.
The events, from 6 p.m.to 9 p.m. will involve over a hundred businesses that are dedicated to the ideals of community involvement and making Hawthorne a desirable place to work, shop, and live. Get ready, get set, shop local!
This year the Hawthorne Boulevard Business Association is teaming up with Impact NW to facilitate a living holiday tree auction to raise donations for emergency food and help to people in need. Participating stores will also donate a portion of sales to Impact NW.
