Poking Fun at Middle East Politics

Comedians to stand up for peace on PSU stage

Two successful comedians, Scott Blakeman and Dean Obeidallah, will poke fun at Middle East politics in their disarmingly funny performance, “Standup for Peace,” a comedy show that brings together Jews, Arabs, Muslims, and people from all backgrounds to laugh and encourage dialogue.

Performing shows at theatres, colleges, temples, and Jewish and Arab community centers throughout the U. S., the two-comedian will bring their show to Portland State University on Saturday, May 28 at 7 p.m. in the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom.
