Volunteers are welcome to help spruce up the Roosevelt High School campus during a community service campaign on Saturday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
In the last three years, an estimated $750,000 of renewal and renovation has been provided to the north Portland school through the “RHS Day of Service” event which is coordinated with Portland area churches.
This year, volunteers hope to go over the $1 million mark of school facility improvements with another great turn-out.
The event has become an important part of Roosevelt’s “On The Rise” campaign as it helps create a positive and welcoming environment for local students to excel.
