An art exhibition celebrating African American artists will be featured on the campus of Concordia University in northeast Portland, opening Monday, Feb. 13 and continuing through March 9 in honor of Black History month.
The exhibit, which was made possible through Concordia’s Arts and Cultures program, will display work by various artists, including Kali Wilson-Hoesch, Kwa Franklin Ghong and Nereus Patrick Cheo.
The public is welcomed to a free artist’s reception on Friday, Feb. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the F.W.J. Sylwester Library and George R. White Library & Learning Center, 2800 N.E. Liberty St.
