Players from the Alberta Park Youth Football program take time on Sunday to pick up litter and trash from around the park and surrounding neighborhood.
On Sunday, the Alberta Park Youth Football Program had players, parents and coaches volunteer their time to pick up litter and trash from around the park and throughout the northeast Portland community.
Alberta Park Youth Football operates under the Police Activities League. It has been a striving youth program since 2000, helping steer young student athletes in the right direction in hopes of making a difference and being a positive influence in their lives.
The goal is to develop young men of substance, build character, and stress the importance of school and education. Congratulations to these young men for giving back and being active in the community.
