The 12th annual Jefferson High School Multicultural Film Festival presents Dr Richard Wolff’s documentary film Capitalism Hits the Fan with guest speaker Tom Potiowsky at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the North Portland Library, 512 N. Killingsworth St.
Potiowsky was Oregon’s economist for more than a decade. He is chair of the Portland State University Economic Department and director of the Northwest Center for Applied Economic Research.
Wolff’s documentary deals with the American financial crisis and how it wasn’t at all unexpected and didn’t come suddenly out of the blue.
The film series is free and open to the public.
