Augustana Lutheran Church, 2710 N.E. 14th Ave., is hosting a special service to honor the birth, life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King.
The celebration will take place on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. and include prepared readings from Dr. King’s speeches. There will be jazz gospel music performed by Marilyn Keller, Ron Steen, Kevin Dietz, George Mitchell and the Augustana Jazz Quartette.
