Input Wanted on Franklin, Roosevelt Design Work

Roosevelt High School awaits a major remodel with an invitation out for the public to share their thoughts and ideas on what the future school should look and feel like.

Portland Public Schools invites the public to participate in upcoming design workshops for modernizing Franklin and Roosevelt high schools.

The district will be hosting public meetings and events throughout the two school communities for the public to share thoughts and ideas.

Franklin workshops will be held in the southeast Portland school’s cafeteria on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon. An open house will follow on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m., also in the Franklin cafeteria

Roosevelt workshops will be held in the north Portland school’s cafeteria on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. An open house will follow in the cafeteria on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
