African-American survivors of breast cancer now have a place to receive support, resources, and educational activities and programs specifically for them; the Sisters Network Oregon and SW Washington.

A Northwest spinoff of the Sisters Network Inc. , the group will host meetings every second Saturday at the June Key Delta Community Center located at 5940 N. Albina Ave. Due to the snowfall last weekend, the first meeting scheduled for Feb. 8 was cancelled, but will continue as planned each month from here on out.

Group meetings for African American survivors of breast cancer will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., while general public meetings will immediately follow from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
