A celebration of IRCO, the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization serving refugees, immigrants and the community at large, will take place during a benefit concert, Thursday, July 27 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Mississippi Pizza Pub’s Atlantis Lounge, 3552 N. Mississippi Ave.

Sponsored by “While Rome Burns,” a Portland-based musician/artist activist group, the featured performers are Chata Addy and The Pearls. Master of Ceremonies is Karissa Lowe.

Taylor Gibson from IRCO will be on hand to talk about the important work her organization is doing. Admission is $10 with 100 percent of proceeds going to benefit IRCO.

IRCO’s mission is to promote the integration of refugees, immigrants and the community at large into a self-sufficient, healthy and inclusive multi-ethnic society.
