Featuring films by visionaries, rebels and pioneers willing to tell it like it is, the NW Film Center at the Portland Art Museum hosts a black cinema series over the next three months in conjunction with the museum’s African American exhibit “Constructing Identity.” The film series opens with a showing of Spike Lee’s 2000 classic ‘Bamboozled’ with showings at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2.
