More than three dozen people came together for a vigil Thursday night to remember a member of Portland’s black community who was hit and killed by an alleged drunk driver while trying to cross a dangerous section of Cully Boulevard in northeast Portland. The group joined neighbors in demanding long overdue safety improvements for the street.
