Friends of Trees planting this weekend

The non-profit, which seeks to bring neighbors together through planting trees, will be planting in the Boise, Eliot, Humboldt and King. Friends of Trees helps neighbors turn a new leaf

The group, which has planted 375,000 trees in the Portland metro area, is part of a national trend to add more vegetation to urban landscapes, and has even bigger plans to bring the benefits of trees to Stumptown.
